Many of us would have had the hobby of collecting postal stamps in their childhood. It is one of the most common hobbies seen in kids. Stamps came into existence in 1840 in the United Kingdom of Great Britain. The first ever stamp was the Penny Black that had to be put up on the postal letter by the sender. Soon after this, every country followed Britain in issuing their own postal stamps. It then became a rule to have a stamp on the letter or the mail in order to get it posted. Usually the kind of stamp to be stuck on the mail or the letter depends on the distance to which it is to be delivered. Accordingly the price for each stamp is decided.
